the walls were closing in on her.
one more wrong and
her world would go black.
it was hard to swallow,
and she couldn’t think straight.
what had happened,
she wondered.
what had gone wrong?
trying hard to
ignore the racing of
her heart
and the pounding in her head,
she tried to put an end to
these feelings of
utter despair.
